Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the provision of moving, packing, storage and related services by B&W Movers [Pty Ltd] ("we", "us", "the Company") to you ("the Client"). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Quotations

All quotations are valid for [QUOTE_VALIDITY_DAYS] days from the date of issue. Quotations are based on the information provided by the Client. If the actual volume, access conditions or distance differ materially from what was described, B&W Movers reserves the right to adjust the price accordingly.

3. Payment

Payment is due [PAYMENT_TERMS]. We accept cash, EFT and card payments in South African Rand (ZAR). A deposit of [DEPOSIT_AMOUNT] may be required to secure your booking.

4. Cancellation

Cancellations made more than [CANCELLATION_DAYS] days before the scheduled move date will receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations made within [CANCELLATION_DAYS] days may forfeit the deposit.

5. Insurance and liability

B&W Movers carries [INSURANCE_DETAILS] goods-in-transit insurance. Coverage details, exclusions and excess amounts will be disclosed in writing before the move. The Client is responsible for insuring high-value items (art, jewellery, electronics above [VALUE_THRESHOLD]) separately if desired.

6. Client responsibilities

The Client must ensure access at both the collection and delivery addresses, disclose any access difficulties (stairs, lifts, long carries, complex/estate rules), and ensure that all items to be moved are legal and safe to transport.

7. Prohibited items

B&W Movers will not transport hazardous materials, illegal substances, firearms (unless properly licenced and secured), perishable food items (unless agreed in writing), or live animals.

8. Delays and force majeure

B&W Movers will not be liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, vehicle breakdown, load-shedding affecting lifts, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

9. Disputes

Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to South African law and the jurisdiction of the courts of [JURISDICTION].

10. Privacy

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms
